I just wrote a post about music from my childhood which had an influence on me -- I highlighted a different mood, but fun to listen to the songs and think about those childhood attachments.

It completely makes sense that you would have a stronger attachment to songs that you associated with your children.
I think part of why that music made such an impression on me is that it felt connected to my parents' interests and personality. I don't know whether Lucy would have that experience of music which took on additional significance for her because of the way it expressed your personality.
She has expressed that a few times in this series, for sure. It’s interesting to see what attachments are formed when something like music is at the center of your life for decades.
