Very nice.

I just wrote a post about music from my childhood which had an influence on me -- I highlighted a different mood, but fun to listen to the songs and think about those childhood attachments.

Thanks for checking it out, and for sharing your post. I retained attachments to some of my childhood songs, but I honestly have stronger attachments to the songs my kids listened to over and over.

It completely makes sense that you would have a stronger attachment to songs that you associated with your children.

I think part of why that music made such an impression on me is that it felt connected to my parents' interests and personality. I don't know whether Lucy would have that experience of music which took on additional significance for her because of the way it expressed your personality.
