When I hear the word "Wanna" and rock & roll I immediately think of 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' by The Stooges. Rock music doesn't get much snottier, or glue-sniffin' than this grimy, fuzztastic track.
Legendary song! That’s an all-time favorite of mine too (used to cover it in my high school band). I had it on here at one point, but in adhering to my arbitrary rule of “only 40 songs,” it somehow got cut.

Me too!
"Wanna... is powerful pronouncement masquerading as a momentary flight of fancy." Love this sentence! Great stuff.
Thank you!
As always a great play list, have it on now and can not sit, have to be up and shaking my good things!
Shake it!

Yes!!!
Two of my favorites:
I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That - Elton John
I Wanna Be Where You Are - Melissa Manchester
Nice! Those two definitely popped up when I went down the Wanna rabbit hole. There are SO MANY songs that use that word in the title.
Great playlist! It's not in the title of the song, but Springsteen's "Where the Bands Are" comes to mind.
Thanks! Man…if I widened it to songs that simply INCLUDE the word “Wanna,” I would have never finished the playlist (but that’s a good one).
