Writing is a different side of the brain than editing. I get it. I'd KILL to have an editor after I write, but hey that's more money out the door. ;-)

One of the things I really loved about Lowe’s first album was how many of the songs liberally borrowed bits and pieces from other artists’ songs – a la the Thin Lizzy lift here. I love several of his other albums, but always miss that initial sense of cheekiness.

was the song that hooked me on Lowe But never made the connection to Vonnegut even though I read the book. Cheers, now I must go cue up Pure Pop for Now People as it was called here in Canada & on the jacket sleeve of the LP in my collection
