Aw man, I can understand why you’d be hesitant to replace the drum stuff. I hope you do though!

Thanks, man. 🙏 Really appreciate the support, but need to focus elsewhere for the time being.

This is unbelievably heartbreaking.

It's rough, for sure. But what Brandon's setting up is pretty amazing. Glimmers of hope is all we can ask for right now. 🙏

Incredibly sad... thanks for sharing this, though.

Yeah, it definitely is. Not trying to bum people out, but feel the need to write about all of this for my own sanity at the moment. I promise there will be more straight ahead power pop writing this week.

I’m sorry 😢

You won't be drumless for long Steve, and that's a very good thing. But I'm so sorry for the loss of your gear and that of all the other musicians going through this. As musicians, we all have stories of a friend who lost a special guitar or other instrument through theft or maybe having to sell it during hard times. This just seems like such a huge amount of sounds and memories lost at once; it's heart breaking. BTW I was not familiar with Tsar before but will go look for more of your music, "Kathy Fong is the Bomb" is slammin'! I loved it!

Not sure what to think of Burning Down the House rendition. Artists are funny that way. TSAR will live forever!!

I think he does a good job of explaining himself at the start of the video. I can't speak for anybody else, but my dark sense of humor has been off the charts during all of this. Coping mechanism, I guess.

I agree that dark humor is just that, dark but funny!

People like Brandon and his decision to stand up a non profit are a great reminder that there is still good in this world.

Truly. He's a super talented musician and an amazing human being.
