Thank you, Steve. This was such a special and moving tribute by Adam. I so wanted to do something, as, in our circle, something had to be done! I was content to honor Eric a couple times on Notes, and may be moved to do something in the future more fitting, without the pressures of meeting any self-imposed "news of the week" immediacies I'm sure I'd impose upon myself!
I had not been too familiar with Adam's work, but I intend to do some digging (literally, and I'm sure, aurally, as well)! As you know, having been introed to the Beatles at 8 with their first "Ed Sullivan" appearance in '64, it's cool to hear someone of an age for whom Eric and the 'berries was HIS Beatles moment, if not out'n'out Beatles, at least from the standpoint of inspiration and motivation!
As a singer, too, it was cool hearing Adam talk us through his vocal gymnastics in his efforts to expand his range! Thanks again, Steve.....much appreciated!🎶🎸🎤
Wow. This might be my favorite comment ever. So glad you responded to Adam's essay the way I did when I first read it. More and more, what I'm most fascinated with and moved by are the generational connections in music—and this is definitely a great example of that.
Thank you, Steve.......I'm a little embarrassed that it's taken this long for me to hear of Adam and his accomplishments (and his terrifically relatable "who, me?" star-struck interactions with his heroes!), but I look to catch up in the near future!
And, doubtless, Adam and his band will inspire a new generation of young'uns to pick up guitars and stretch their vocal cords to hit HIS notes!!😁👍🎵"...and, the beat goes on...."!

Cockeyed Ghost was one of the best pop bands on the LA scene in the '90s. I think you'll dig their revved up alternative rock take on AM pop radio.
Great Article Steve, Thank you so much for posting...really enjoyed reading Adam's tribute!
Happy you enjoyed it! Thanks for checking it out, and for the kind words.
music s like a pyramid you start with beatles&j s bach & end up on summit with manilow&richardkerr
