Generation Blue—my latest vinyl/oral history partnership with Big Stir Records—is featured on Weezerpedia! 💙👓
That’s pretty big deal in my little corner of the Geek Rock universe. I’m beyond thrilled that this project has been so well received by true blue Weezer fans. Writing about a long gone Hollywood music scene was a total labor of love, but reuniting with old rock pals, getting this music back out there, and playing a show has been amazing
Speaking of Generation Blue, the booker for the launch party last weekend asked me to make a Spotify playlist to blast between bands.
It came out pretty good, so I decided to share it here. There are some deep ‘90s Hollywood cuts on there, along with a few favorite Weezer and Rentals songs. If you use Spotify and like this playlist, please share it so other fans of this music can find it.
New volume?? YESSSSSS!
So stoked for this to come out!
